Softball Recap: Steele Canyon Picks Up Eighth Consecutive Win

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Steele Canyon had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They skirted past the Christian Patriots 8-6. The victory was nothing new for the Cougars as they're now sitting on eight straight.

The team relied heavily on Payton Sos, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and three runs. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ily Barclay, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one double.

Steele Canyon's win bumped their record up to 20-11. As for Christian, they now have a losing record of 14-15-1.

As of now, neither Steele Canyon nor the Patriots have any future games scheduled.
