Volleyball Recap: Flushing Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Flushing was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Fenton Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.

While Flushing ultimately came up short, they really made Fenton work, particularly in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 22-25, 26-24, 25-18.

Flushing's defeat dropped their record down to 14-17. As for Fenton, they pushed their record up to 13-7 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Flushing and Fenton should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Raiders (ranked 167th) will meet Kearsley (ranked 522nd) at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Fenton will take on Swartz Creek at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank advantage (98 vs. 542).
