Basketball Recap: Arkport Central/Canaseraga Takes a Loss

It was fun while it lasted, but Arkport Central/Canaseraga's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Saturday. They fell to the Wellsville Lions 60-55. The loss was the Wolves' first of the season.

Despite the loss, Arkport Central/Canaseraga still got an impressive performance from Caden Carey, who posted 38 points and six steals. Carey's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Devin Moran was another key player, putting up eight points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Arkport Central/Canaseraga fell to 3-1. As for Wellsville, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.

Arkport Central/Canaseraga wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 77-23 win against Hammondsport on the 17th. As for Wellsville, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Warren at 12:45 p.m. on December 27th.
