Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy waltzed into their matchup on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They blew past the Christian Heritage Academy Knights 11-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Ospreys also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Alex Crowl was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three doubles, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Peyton Conley, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in seven consecutive contests.

Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy's record is now 14-6. As for Christian Heritage Academy, they moved to 10-3 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
