Baseball Recap: Diamond Ranch Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Diamond Ranch faced off against Ontario on Wednesday. The Panthers fell 4-1 to the Jaguars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jaguars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-3 back in March.

Diamond Ranch saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaiah Aparicio, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Diamond Ranch's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Ontario, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-6.

While Diamond Ranch had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
