Jared Mims commands the offense for a Warriors win

Recap: Alemany Warriors vs. South Pasadena Tigers

The Alemany Warriors entered their tilt with the South Pasadena Tigers with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Alemany came out on top against South Pasadena by a score of 72-59 on Thursday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Alemany to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jared Mims, who scored 23 points. The match was Mims' 12th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Samuel Mbingazo, who scored 18 points.

South Pasadena lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Russell Williams, who scored 21 points along with three blocks. Williams is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. Jack Madison was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five rebounds and four steals.

Alemany has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for South Pasadena, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-3.
