Baseball Recap: Denham Springs Falls Short of Live Oak in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Denham Springs can now relate to. They fell just short of the Live Oak Eagles by a score of 4-2 on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Denham Springs' loss dropped their record down to 23-15-1. As for Live Oak, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Denham Springs nor Live Oak have any future games scheduled.
