East Columbus is a perfect 10-0 against West Columbus since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Gators will host the Vikings at 6:00 p.m. The timing is sure in East Columbus' favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while West Columbus has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.

East Columbus' pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Ashley with a sharp 15-0 win. The Gators might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 games by six runs or more this season.

Mackenzi Clemmons was a standout: she went 1-for-2 with three RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Skylah Collins, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: East Columbus kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ashley only managed two hits.

Meanwhile, West Columbus came up short against East Columbus on Tuesday, falling 19-1.

East Columbus has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for West Columbus, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.

East Columbus took their win against West Columbus in their previous matchup on Tuesday by a conclusive 19-1 score. Will the Gators repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
