Softball Game Preview: Hamilton Titans vs. Fulton Steamers

The Hamilton Titans are taking a road trip to face off against the Fulton Steamers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.

Hamilton came up short against Beardstown on Monday, falling 7-1. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Fulton was able to grind out a solid victory over Lexington on Saturday, taking the game 10-5. That five run margin sets a new team best for the Steamers this season.

Fulton has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. Hamilton's loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Hamilton took their victory against Fulton when the teams last played back in March of 2023 by a conclusive 11-0. Does Hamilton have another victory up their sleeve, or will Fulton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
