Softball Recap: Littlestown Finds Home Field Redemption Against Gettysburg

There's no place like home for Littlestown, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They put the hurt on the Gettysburg Warriors with a sharp 14-4 win on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Thunderbolts considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

Sarah Loveless and Alexis Stonesifer did most of the damage at the plate: Loveless went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs, while Stonesifer went 3-for-4 with two triples, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Isabella Olvera, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.

Littlestown's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Gettysburg, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
