Basketball Recap: Edgewood Comes Up Short

Edgewood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 70-64 heartbreaker at the hands of the Madison West Regents. The Crusaders were not able to make up for their defeat to the Regents from their previous meeting back in December of 2016.

Edgewood's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Madison West, with the victory, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-13.

Edgewood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 69-58 win against Portage on the 4th. As for Madison West, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 66-57 victory against Madison East on the 4th.
