Football Game Preview: Montini Catholic Broncos vs. Saint Viator Lions

The Montini Catholic Broncos will face off against the Saint Viator Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Montini Catholic has 16 straight wins, Saint Viator has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Montini Catholic is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They won a contest that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Carmel 55-54.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 38-7, which was the final score in Saint Viator's tilt against DePaul College Prep on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 297th, while the Rams are ranked 129th).

Saint Viator's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Montini Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.
