Oxford has gone 9-1 against Ansonia recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Wolverines will be playing in front of their home fans against the Chargers at 3:45 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Oxford took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They skirted past Masuk 5-3.

Meanwhile, while Ansonia put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Crosby. The Chargers blew past the Bulldogs 13-0. The victory continues a trend for the Chargers in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won eight in a row.

Oxford pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Ansonia, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.
