Volleyball Recap: Brooks Makes It Four in a Row on the Road + How To Watch

Brooks hadn't done well against West Morgan recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Lions skirted past the Rebels 2-1. While the Lions didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-28), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Brooks had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 25-21, 15-9.

Brooks' victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-2. As for West Morgan, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-7.

Coincidentally, Brooks and West Morgan will both be playing Addison the next time they take the court. The Lions will head out to face the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Rebels will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
