Softball Recap: Classical Academy Takes a Loss

Classical Academy was the 12-2 winner over Escondido when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Caimans fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 6-5 on Friday. The Caimans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Classical Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Escondido, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-8 record this season.

Classical Academy will challenge Orange Glen at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Escondido, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 21-0 loss against San Pasqual on the 4th.
