Basketball Recap: Kennedy Piles Up the Points Against Iowa City

Kennedy won the last time they faced Iowa City and things went their way on Friday too. The Kennedy Cougars simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Iowa City Little Hawks 81-42. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 contests by 23 points or more this season.

Kennedy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. As for Iowa City, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-25.

Kennedy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 81-42 win against Liberty on the 14th. As for Iowa City, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kennedy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Kennedy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 contests -- so hopefully Iowa City likes a good challenge.
