Softball Preview: Park Hill Trojans vs. Staley Falcons        
        
		
             Park Hill and Staley are an even 3-3 against one another  since September of 2018, but likely not for long. The Park Hill Trojans will take on the Staley Falcons at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Park Hill has four straight  victories, Staley has five straight  losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
 If Park Hill beats Staley with 11  runs on Tuesday, it's going to be the  team's new lucky number: they've won their past two  games with that exact score. Park Hill had just enough and edged Fort Osage out  11-10 on Monday. The pitching woes were  uncharacteristic for the Trojans, who until this  matchup were averaging 2.5  runs allowed.
 The team  relied heavily on  Brynlee Johnson, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-5. Another player making a difference was  Allison Gonier, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Park Hill was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .412. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .407 or higher in three consecutive  matches.
 Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Staley's offense. They fell just short of Lee's Summit West by a score of  1-0 on Thursday.
 Park Hill's record is now 23-7. As for Staley, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-23-1.
