Tongue River skates past Moorcroft with ease

Recap: Tongue River Eagles vs. Moorcroft Wolves
The Tongue River Eagles's four-game losing streak dating back to last season came to an end on Saturday. They breezed by Moorcroft on the road to the tune of 54-10. The win was just what Tongue River needed coming off of a 51-20 defeat in their prior matchup.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Moorcroft struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only two offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Tongue River's victory bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Moorcroft, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Tongue River and Pine Bluffs will face off at 2:30 p.m. on January 6, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Moorcroft, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Hulett at 5:00 p.m.
