Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only St. Thomas More walked away with it. Everything went their way against Lakeshore on Saturday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Cougars, who have now won 14 matchups in a row.

Marvel Potier paced St. Thomas More's offense, picking up 13 kills. Potier got some help from Audrey Wheeler and her 22 assists. Morgan Dunn and Virginia Blanchard kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

St. Thomas More's victory bumped their record up to 39-6. As for Lakeshore, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-23 record this season.

As of now, neither St. Thomas More nor Lakeshore have any future games scheduled.
