After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Grand Blanc, Heritage was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 19-0 margin over the Carman-Ainsworth Cavaliers. The match marked the Hawks' most dominant win of the season.

Sawyer Lynn and Lillian Fowler did most of the damage at the plate: Lynn got on base in three of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI, while Fowler went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI and two runs. Those two runs gave Fowler a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayla Flores, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Heritage hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are 8-3 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Heritage's victory bumped their record up to 15-11. As for Carman-Ainsworth, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Heritage beat the Cavaliers by a score of 17-1 later that day.
