Hart had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 67-51 victory over the Muir Mustangs. Given the Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 394th, while the Mustangs are ranked 1097th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hart's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Muir, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.
