Basketball Recap: CHAAMP Homeschool's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

CHAAMP HomeSchool had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They skirted past the East Texas Homeschool Sports Chargers 57-55. This was a revenge game for the Hawks: when they faced off against the Chargers back in November of 2024, they had to take a 46-43 defeat.

CHAAMP HomeSchool got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was David Harrison out in front who went 7 for 10 on his way to 17 points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists. That's the most assists Harrison has posted since back in February of 2024. Caelan DeLisi was another key player, going 6 of 15 en route to 18 points and five steals.

CHAAMP HomeSchool smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 13 consecutive matchups.

CHAAMP HomeSchool has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.9 points per game. As for East Texas Homeschool Sports, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-10.
