Football Game Preview: Shorecrest vs. Shorewood

If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Shorecrest. On Friday they take on Shorewood at 7:00 PM. Shorecrest are coming into the game hot, having won three in a row.

Even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Shorecrest beat Everett 27-21 last week. Junior Eladio Fountain was the offensive standout of the match for Shorecrest, as he passed for 299 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Meanwhile, after a dominant win in their matchup two weeks ago, Shorewood were humbled. They suffered a grim 21-49 defeat to Snohomish. Shorewood were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 7-28.

Shorecrest's victory lifted them to 3-0 while Shorewood's defeat dropped them down to 2-1. We'll find out if Shorecrest can add another positive mark to their record or if Shorewood can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Shorecrest's step.
