Football Game Preview: Anadarko Warriors vs. Star-Spencer Bobcats

Anadarko is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Friday. After each having a week off, they and the Star-Spencer Bobcats will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. Anadarko has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 120 points over their last three matchups.

Two weeks ago, Anadarko got the win against Chickasha by a conclusive 34-8.

Anadarko didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Rj Perry. Anadarko received some extra help from Manny Botone, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Meanwhile, Star-Spencer was able to grind out a solid win over Northwest Classen two weeks ago, taking the game 22-14.

Star-Spencer's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Anadarko, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Everything came up roses for Anadarko against Star-Spencer in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, as the squad secured a 46-8 victory. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bobcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
