Volleyball Recap: Calvary Day Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Calvary Day and Providence Christian Academy squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Calvary Day had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Storm by a score of 3-2. The Cavaliers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Storm apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2020.

Calvary Day actually scored more points across those five sets (112-104), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-23, 26-24, 16-25, 17-15.

When it comes to explaining why Calvary Day lost, don't look at Vanessa Healy. Despite the final result, she had seven digs and six aces.

Calvary Day's defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-11. As for Providence Christian Academy, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 37-10.

Calvary Day does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Providence Christian Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Mount Paran Christian on the 22nd.
