Basketball Game Preview: Walkertown Wolfpack vs. Reidsville Rams

Walkertown hasn't had much luck against Reidsville recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Wolfpack will square off against the Rams at 7:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Walkertown sitting on four straight victories and Reidsville on 15.

On Wednesday, Walkertown made easy work of McMichael and carried off a 76-56 win. The Wolfpack have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Walkertown's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ricco Daniels led the charge by going 6-for-15 on his way to 20 points. Those 20 points gave Daniels a new career-high. Jordan Watson was another key player, shooting 71% from the field en route to 15 points.

Meanwhile, Reidsville took their game on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 75-41 victory over Carver. The Rams are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the 12th contest they've won by 20+ points this season.

Walkertown's record is now 17-6. As for Reidsville, their record now sits at 18-1.

Walkertown couldn't quite finish off Reidsville in their previous meeting last Tuesday and fell 66-64. Can the Wolfpack avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
