Baseball Recap: Scranton Prep Cavaliers vs. West Scranton Invaders

After losing to West Scranton the last time they met, Scranton Prep decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cavaliers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over the Invaders on Wednesday. That's two games straight that the Cavaliers have won by exactly two runs.

Johnny Petrosky was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Petrosky was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. That stolen base marked the first that he has snagged this season.
