Basketball Recap: Calvary Chapel Comes Up Short

Calvary Chapel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 27th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Mesrobian Bulldogs, falling 61-28. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Grizzlies of the 67-34 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2024.

Calvary Chapel's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Mesrobian, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-4.

Coming up, Calvary Chapel will venture away from home to challenge Eastside Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mesrobian will take on New Covenant Academy in a holiday battle at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
