Baseball Game Preview: Jefferson Raiders vs. Liberty Patriots

The Jefferson Raiders will challenge the Liberty Patriots at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Jefferson is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Jefferson came up short against Kentlake and fell 11-6.

Myles Myers was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. He has become a key player for Jefferson: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 1-6 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Wyatt Anderson, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Liberty beat Inglemoor 6-1 on Friday.

Sam Bell was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Liberty, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.
