Baseball Game Preview: Summit Storm vs. Redmond Panthers

For the second straight game, Summit will face off against Redmond. The Storm will welcome the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Summit has six straight victories, Redmond has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

If Summit beats Redmond with seven runs on Wednesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Storm came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 7-2 on Tuesday.

Summit pushed their record up to 12-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Redmond, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-14.
