Softball Game Preview: Mahomet-Seymour Bulldogs vs. St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans

The Mahomet-Seymour Bulldogs will challenge the St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Mahomet-Seymour will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.

Mahomet-Seymour is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let MacArthur get on the board and left with a 19-0 victory on Monday. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, St. Joseph-Ogden unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of Monticello by a score of 3-2. The Spartans were red-hot at the plate heading into the match (they scored no less than ten runs in the three games prior), but the Sages' pitchers proved too tough.

Mahomet-Seymour's win bumped their record up to 10-13. As for St. Joseph-Ogden, their loss dropped their record down to 19-8.
