Basketball Recap: Poway Gets the Win

Poway picked up another tournament win on Friday. They managed a 59-53 win over the Madera Coyotes.

Poway's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Madera, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Poway and Arroyo Grande will face off at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Poway knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Arroyo Grande likes a good challenge. As for Madera, they will take on Sierra at 9:30 a.m. on January 4, 2025.
