Softball Recap: East Stroudsburg South Comes Up Short

East Stroudsburg South lost against Liberty back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cavaliers fell 8-4 to the Hurricanes. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

East Stroudsburg South saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jadeyn Learn, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.

East Stroudsburg South's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Liberty, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

East Stroudsburg South will challenge Pocono Mountain West at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cavaliers are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Liberty, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 9-2 victory against Easton Area on the 22nd.
