Softball Recap: Northeast Raiders vs. Central Chargers
Northeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 18-5 to the Central Chargers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 9-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September.
Northeast's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Central, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-11.
Northeast does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 13-5 defeat against Washington County on the 7th.
