Basketball Recap: Teaneck Drops Season-High Score on Roxbury

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Teaneck had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They took their game with ease, bagging an 87-51 victory over the Roxbury Gaels. The Highwaymen's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Teaneck is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.3 points over those games. Roxbury is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-14.

Looking ahead, Teaneck will square off against Wayne Hills on Saturday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive. Roxbury does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
