Softball Recap: Jimtown Jimmies vs. Northridge Raiders
If Jimtown was feeling good fresh off their 6-0 takedown of Niles last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Jimtown fell just short of the Northridge Raiders by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The Jimmies haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
Skyler Pello was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Kendal McPhee, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Jimtown now has a losing record of 1-2. Northridge has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
