There's no place like home for Scotch Plains-Fanwood, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Brearley Bears 8-7. This was payback for the Raiders, who suffered a 5-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

The team relied heavily on Ronnie Germinder, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI and two doubles. Ian Losardo was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two RBI and one double.
