Basketball Game Preview: Houston Mustangs vs. Sierra Canyon Trailblazers

Having just played yesterday, the Houston Mustangs will jump right back in to play the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Houston knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 15 matches -- so hopefully Sierra Canyon likes a good challenge.

Houston is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Tennessee's top teams: Hillsboro, who was ranked sixth at the time (Houston was ranked seventh). Houston took a 67-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hillsboro on Friday.

Meanwhile, Sierra Canyon strolled past Bartlett with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 68-54.

Sierra Canyon is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.0 points per game. As for Houston, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-3.
