Soccer Recap: Saucon Valley Takes a Loss

Saucon Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bangor Slaters. Saucon Valley were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Bangor apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Saucon Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9-2. As for Bangor, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-7-1 record this season.

Saucon Valley will host Palisades at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bangor, they are taking a road trip to square off against Lincoln Leadership Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
