Softball Recap: Santa Fe Trail's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, Santa Fe Trail was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Rossville Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. The game marked the Chargers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Gretchen Huizenga spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on three hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Santa Fe Trail saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trinity Fawl, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. That stolen base marked the first that Fawl snagged this season.
