Basketball Recap: Cloudcroft Comes Up Short

Cloudcroft's last matchup with Tularosa could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Tuesday. The Bears were beaten by the Wildcats 75-30. Having soared to a lofty 58 points in the game before, the Bears couldn't push the score so high this time.

Cloudcroft dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Tularosa, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Cloudcroft will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Eunice at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026. As for Tularosa, they will take on McCurdy in a tournament on Thursday.
