Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask University). Their defense stepped up to hand the Westchester Comets a 6-0 shutout on Wednesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Wildcats considering their one-goal performance the game before.

The victory got University back to even at 3-3-6. As for Westchester, they dropped their record down to 0-13 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the University face off against the Fairfax at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Fairfax will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something University surely won't give up without a fight.
