Game recap: Southeast Guilford High School Football Team tops Mooresville

MOORESVILLE, N.C. - Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, N.C.) saw its 16-point lead shrink to eight, but hung on to beat Mooresville (N.C.) 30-22 on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a field goal by Sergio Hernandez in the second quarter, the Falcons led 9-7 at the half.

Southeast Guilford grew its lead to nine points entering the fourth quarter. SG scored once in the quarter on a Bubba Craven touchdown run.

The loss snapped Mooresville's 10-game winning streak.

The loss comes after Mooresville defeated Alexander Central 33-6 last week.
