Volleyball Recap: Wyoming Area Has No Trouble Against Hanover Area

Wyoming Area won the last time they faced Hanover Area and things went their way on Monday too. The Warriors put the hurt on the Hawkeyes with a sharp 3-0 victory.

While Wyoming Area won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-22, 25-8.

Wyoming Area found their leader in sophomore Josie Kivak, who had eight digs and eight aces. Those eight aces set a new season-high mark for Kivak.

Wyoming Area was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 27 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September.

Wyoming Area's record now sits at 5-9. As for Hanover Area, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-12.

Wyoming Area didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Crestwood on the 14th. As for Hanover Area, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Berwick on the 14th.
