Basketball Recap: Pierce Comes Up Short

Pierce was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 56-27 loss at the hands of the Winters Warriors. The Bears were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 25-5.

Pierce lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Calvin Bair, who posted 12 points and seven rebounds. Devin Garcia was another key player, putting up seven points and five boards.

Pierce's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Winters, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.

Pierce has already played their next contest (against Willows), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Winters has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against East Nicolaus.
