Baseball Recap: Quilcene Extends Home Winning Streak to Eight

Quilcene had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 4-0 win over the Northwest Christian Wolverines. This was a revenge game for the Rangers: when they faced off against the Wolverines back in April, they had to take a 9-3 loss.

Jayden Love was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played.

Quilcene's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Northwest Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-4.
