St. Mary had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the McCluer North Stars on Monday.

McCluer North's batters probably weren't too happy with John Maness, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 18 Ks (he gave up two walks). Maness has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
