Soccer Recap: Madisonville-North Hopkins Comes Up Short

After flying high against Christian County on Saturday, Madisonville-North Hopkins came back down to earth. The Maroons took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Warren Spartans on Tuesday.

MCKINLEY WILSON and HADLEY HODGES scored both of Madisonville-North Hopkins' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Madisonville-North Hopkins' loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for South Warren, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Looking ahead, Madisonville-North Hopkins is taking a road trip to face off against Apollo at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Warren, they will host Greenwood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. South Warren are facing Greenwood at the right time seeing as Greenwood are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
