Football Game Preview: Santa Rosa Academy Rangers vs. Trinity Classical Academy Knights + Official Tickets

The Santa Rosa Academy Rangers will head out on the road to face off against the Trinity Classical Academy Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Santa Rosa Academy is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Webb just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Saturday. They had to suffer through a 51-24 loss at the hands of the Gauls. The Rangers were down 44-14 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Aaron Quesada, who picked up 56 receiving yards and one touchdown. Andrew Sharp handled things on the ground, rushing for 85 yards.

Meanwhile, Trinity Classical Academy entered their tilt with Temecula Prep on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Patriots 41-7. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-0.

Santa Rosa Academy better focus on containing Andrew Carlson and Hudson Sweitzer as the pair were huge in Trinity Classical Academy's win. Carlson threw for 213 yards and three TDs while completing 75% of his passes, while Sweitzer rushed for 79 yards and three scores on only eight carries. Carlson's passing game has become a key predictor of Trinity Classical Academy's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 2-3 otherwise.
