Soccer Recap: Lee County Takes a Loss

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Lee County and Houston County have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. The Lee County Trojans came up short against the Houston County Bears, falling 5-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in February.

Lee County's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Houston County, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.

Coming up, Lee County will square off against Thomas County Central at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Houston County, they will take on Veterans at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
